September Town Council meetings
Please note that due to the lack of a quorum, the regularly scheduled September 7 Council meeting has been cancelled. Our next regular Town Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 6pm.

General Plan Economic Development Element and Public Facilities and Services Element Review by Town Council and Planning Commission
On Tuesday, August 23, at 5:30pm, the Windsor Town
Council and Planning Commission will hold a special joint study session at Town
Hall, open to the public, to receive and discuss preliminary drafts of the
Economic Development Element and Public Facilities and Services Element of the
General Plan. The Economic Development Element addresses the Town’s policies
for providing an inviting business climate, a balanced economy, and diverse tax
base. The Public Facilities and Services Element addresses the Town’s policies
for the location and distribution of public facilities and services.
The Town welcomes feedback and public
comment at this meeting and at all of the General Plan Update meetings. The
agenda packet will be available prior to the meeting and can be downloaded here:

The meeting can also be viewed via livestreaming broadcast at the same website

General Plan Land Use Element Review by Town Council and Planning Commission
On Monday, August 15, at 5:30pm, the Windsor Town Council and Planning Commission will hold a special joint study session, open to the public, to discuss the Preliminary Draft Land Use and Community Design Element of the General Plan Update. This Element addresses a broad range of topics related to the physical structure and appearance of the Town's built environment, including the location and pattern of new development, community design, mixed-use, the urban growth boundary, and policies for specific areas of the Town, including Old Redwood Highway, North of Arata Lane, Shiloh Road East, and other areas. The topic of agricultural buffers will not be discussed at this meeting, but rather at a future meeting, when decision makers review the Draft Environmental Resources Element.
