Roundabout at Windsor Road/Windsor River Road? Attend on June 6 to find out more!

On Monday, June 6, from 6pm to 7:30pm in the Windsor Town Council Chambers, 9291 Old Redwood Highway, Town staff and Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) will present options for Windsor Road/Windsor River Road Intersection Improvements. Free Home Composting Workshop - Saturday, June 11 in Windsor!


Do you love to garden? Looking for ways to be as sustainable as possible? Learn how to compost with Free Home Composting Workshops. Composting is easy and the results will give you a magic green thumb. Sonoma County Waste Management Agency is pleased to partner with the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners Program of Sonoma County to offer a series of English and Spanish composting workshops throughout Sonoma County. Learn in two hours how easy it is to turn yard waste and kitchen scraps into wonderfully-rich compost to use as a soil amendment or mulch in your garden. Your chance to participate in the future of our next phase of the downtown and Town Green

These meetings will be held as charrettes which are stakeholder meetings with a chance to review and respond to various concepts and designs, and provide your input. Do you have unused medications in your home? Participate in National Drug Take Back Day

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and participating local law enforcement are coordinating a nationwide drug "take-back" day on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This one-day event will provide residents with a no cost, anonymous collection of unwanted and expired medicines. Controlled substances will also be accepted at this one-day special event.
Two locations are participating in Sonoma County:
• Healdsburg Police Department, 238 Center St., Healdsburg
• Petaluma Police Department, 969 Petaluma Blvd., N., Petaluma,
